| GROUP | DATE | TICKET PRICE | COMMENTS |
| KISS | March 6th 1977 | $7.50 | The first concert of my life and it was GREAT! I was 15 and went with
my Moms friend and sat close enough to feel Gene Simmons heat off his fire
blowing scene.Fire-Blood-Explosions-LOUD music is what the 70s were all
about. I want to Rock and Roll all night...and Party every day! I also saw KISS in 1988 for 16 bucks ...but it just was not the same as the first time I saw them. |
| KANSAS | November 11th 1977 | $7.50 | Nazareth was the opening band ...had some interesting lasers but not that great of a show. |
| GRATEFUL DEAD | April 19th 1978 | $7.50 | Yes the Dead did indoor shows and at Veterans Memorial it was a big
drug fest in the basement. The rent a cops would light joints for you and
you could even sell drugs there.....not at all like today! I have one other ticket stub from a outside show on June 25th 1988 at Buckeye Lake Music Center...the old Legend Valley...and I remember it was over 100 degrees that day and they tried to sell me warm pop with no ice cause they were running out!...I got the ice in my drink! It was a great show and had loads of fun...sweating my ass off. I have seen the Dead more than twice but these are all the ticket stubs I can find. I found another ticket stub from 1984 |
| BLUE OYSTER CULT | March 5th 1978 | $6.50 | This was a general admission concert that was close to a death scene.
It was cold outside and the assholes didn't open all the doors and finally
when people started smashing the windows they just started pulling people
in through the doors and didn't worry about tickets....I still have mine.
The Godz opened up....as local band. I love BOC and this concert was ORGASMIC! I went again on October 2nd 1979 and also saw BOC three more times in 1988 and had to pay 12 bucks then. |
| AEROSMITH | March 24th 1978 | ? | This was the fucked up time for the group with Steven Tyler smacking everyone in the head with his mic stand scarfs. They sounded like shit but it was just cool to just see them in concert. |
| J GEILS BAND | December 1st 1978 | ? | For some reason I saw this band many times ...I like them but not that
much. South Side Johnny was the opener...Cool! In 1981 I saw them again and Red Rider was the back up band...who the hell are they : ) |

| THE WHO | November 29th 1982 | $15.25 | I think I got the last ticket to this one as it was in super nosebleed section. I didn't stay there and ended up right to the left of the stage sitting on the steps. It was a religious experience and they were in great form. |
| NIGHT RANGER | January 12th 1983 | $5.00 | I met the lead singer before the show and he was an arrogant asshole! May he rot in music has been hell! Rosie a local band opened. |

| BURTON CUMMINGS | May 25th 1986 | $11.00 | If you don't know Burton Cummings is the piano player/singer from the Guess Who. He did some solo albums and this concert was just the fucking best! I was in memory heaven and as I am writing this I feel the need to go out and buy his albums I had ripped off right now. This show was worth 100 bucks to me. |
| BTO | March 4th 1987 | $10.00 | BTO is Bachman Turner Overdrive if ya didn't know and I can still hear
their song Sledgehammer...it kicks ass! I also saw them in 1986...just found the ticket stub. |
| RANDY BACHMAN & BURTON CUMMINGS | October 27th 1987 | $13.00 | The above duo team up for one of the many reunion tours. |

pictures with the whole band. Saw them again on November the 9th and even had a video camera that we have us with them on it! All members were pleasant and nice...they said hey you guys are here again : ) |
| GWAR | October 28th 1990 | $9.00 | Actually I don't think I went to this show as I was soo fucking depressed
about some guy or something and now I cant even remember who or why? But
I know I went to the show in 1991 and paid 12 bucks but got
FREE beer cause the dummies at the Newport left the beer cooler unlocked! I also saw them in 1994. The problem I had with GWAR shows is keeping the stains in my shirt....I am not joking cause I tried everything and the damn things came out! |

| GUNS AND ROSES | January 13th 1992 | $20.00 | This is the only ticket that has the show time at ...around 8pm...It is like the band doesn't give a shit what time they play or how long you wait..Fuck You Axle you ass! |
| SONIC YOUTH | October 7th 1992 | $12.75 | I have this ticket signed by someone in the band...just don't know who? |
| OVERKILL | March 8th 1997 | $12.25 | This band has such cool lyrics and a great mosh pit! |
I have also seen DANZIG and have a guitar pick and also saw NIRVANA at a very small club in Columbus and have my picture with Kurt Cobain but my friend in fucking florida has it...why he has it is because I am stupid! I talked to Cris Novaselic and told him that they are going to be a big fucking hit. I got a grunt out of Kurt when I asked if I could get a picture. The show was fantastic and I was literaly feet from them as they played.
Went to see the GOO GOO DOLLS right before they hit it big.
I also saw the ROLLING STONES in Cincinatti on Steel Wheels tour many years ago.
