Those autism trends are scary — and it pisses me off.
You are so wrong about podcasting. Two years? That is all the time you are going to give podcasting to “explode”
But I respect your opinion
Podcasting had been around for longer than two years..actually over 6 years.. and I would say 99.9% of the population has no idea what it is.
Hey but it can still be fun!
Even Adum Scurvey said two years ago that this could take 5 more years till people catch on.
People are calling it climate change because there are certain areas that are getting colder and because the effects aren’t just air temperature. It’s just more precise than global warming.
I like the Kalvanism, what a clever neologism.
Boston is a great city. I hope you have a good time!
Oh no way man they are calling it climate change cause it is easier to hear.It has nothing to do with being precise it has to do with selling a product.
I disagree with your view that podcasting is dead.
Maybe you have simply grown tired of doing it.
I figure most people have come to the conclusion that you are not going to make any money being a podcaster. I don’t know who started that idea anyways…Podshow?…Madge?….Ragan Fox?
I see podcasting as a different form of blogging…nothing more, nothing less.
Shot at?
I think this is a story that needs to be told.
1. Zilla, I must say, you are, indeed, the least “gay” homosexual I know — but I think we’re mixing up personal affectations with physiological states. Nonetheless, you just prove that homosexuals, just like everyone else, some in all different types — they’re humans.
2. I’d say that podcasting as it was suggested by the Adam Curry types and some of the people in that community is not doing well but that’s more because, I think, that was a first blush impression of what it could be (I frankly don’t think Adam Curry and Ron Bloom even entirely believed it was going to be exactly that). I’d say that the general format/medium of media files being available and distributed via RSS is going to be around for a long time but it may settle in differetnt kind of formats. Just think of computers — at one time they were big room-sized boxes that were used for calculating numbers for people, now they have become everything from people’s watches, telephones, record players (I know — I date myself), heart beat tickers, road maps, etc. Oh yeah — and they also calculate numbers for people, too.
you good folk Zilla — keep yer chin up, man.
